Rita
D. Hintz, PA-C
Rita Hintz attended Penn State
University, and completed
her Physician Assistant degree
at Hahnemann Medical College
in Philadelphia. Being a 1980
graduate, she has extensive
experience in multiple medical
specialties, as well as clinical
research. Ms Hintz first worked
with Colorado Allergy and
Asthma Centers in 1996, but
was interrupted by overseas
tours of duty with the Foreign
Service. After 10 years, which
included work in American
Embassies in Latin America
and the Middle East, she rejoined
Colorado Allergy and Asthma
Centers in 2008.
Physician Assistants are specially
trained to take care of a
variety of diseases under
the supervision of a physician.
PA’s are required to take
a national certification exam
every six years, and to accumulate
over one hundred hours of
continuing medical education
every two years. Rita strongly
believes in a team concept,
working with physicians and
clinical staff to deliver
the best medical care possible.
She feels that patient understanding
and education play a vital
role in optimal care, and
welcomes questions from her
patients. |
