Kim
B. Allsop, P.A.-C.
Ms. Allsop attended the University of Cincinnati to earn
her bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine and then went on
to the University of Kentucky for post graduate training as
a Physician Assistant. She graduated in 1983 and has worked
as a Physician Assistant in neurosurgery and emergency medicine
and joined Colorado Allergy and Asthma Centers in 1996. Kim
works primarily in clinical drug research in our practice.
Physician Assistants are trained to take care of a variety
of diseases under the supervision of a physician. They are
required to take a national certification exam every six years,
and then to accumulate many hours of continuing education
credits every year. Kim works very closely with our physicians
to assure that our patients are taken care of in the finest
manner possible.
Ms. Allsop believes in close monitoring of our asthma and
allergy patients along with patient and family education concerning
the asthma disease process.
When not at work, Kim loves being with her family and enjoying
the Rocky Mountain lifestyle.
