Michael Calvin, P.A.-C.

Mr. Calvin joined CAAC in 1991. His goal is to provide wellness by joining into a partnership with the patient. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Alfred University in upstate New York. He studied medicine at the Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program in Denver and received his training in allergy and asthma with the doctors at Colorado Allergy and Asthma Centers.

Physician Assistants are trained to take care of a variety of diseases under the supervision of a physician. They are required to take a national certification exam every six years, and to accumulate many hours of continuing education credits every year. Michael works very closely with our physicians to assure that Colorado Allergy and Asthma Centers patients are taken care of in the finest manner possible.

Mr. Calvin believes that a partnership is formed between a patient and the health care provider. You know about your body; we know about disease and medicine. He promotes wellness by encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle. He is the head of the Breathe Better Team, a group of runners, walkers, skiers, etc. with asthma. Co-founder of the Asthma and Exercise Clinic, he is committed to the highest standards of care established by his supervising doctors.
