Tim
Stewart , P.A.-C.
Mr. Stewart received his Master of Medical Science degree
and Physician Assistant certification from Emory University.
He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Physical Education/Exercise
Physiology from San Diego State University. Since joining
our practice in 2002, he has been dedicated to providing acute
and ongoing health care to pediatric and adult patients with
special emphasis on education and individualized patient care.
He is also involved in our asthma and exercise program, helping
in the diagnosis and treatment of exercise-induced health
problems.
Physician Assistants are trained to take care of a variety
of diseases under the supervision of a physician. They are
required to take a national certification exam every six years,
and to accumulate many hours of continuing education credits
every year. Tim works very closely with our physicians to
assure that Colorado Allergy and Asthma Centers patients are
taken care of in the finest manner possible.
Mr. Stewart believes very strongly in educating patients about
their disease process, empowering them to take a more active
role in managing their disease. Due to his previous experience
as an Exercise Physiologist, he values the importance of regular
exercise, not only to optimize their overall health but to
improve their quality of life.
